| So. Everyone wants to make a guide that is actually worth something to some players. The first thing you need, is a writing frame. Write out your guide in words. Try to use steps in your guide to make it easier for your audience.Make sure that when you post your guide, there is nothing like it already. If you have some suggestions to make someone's else's guide better then either pm them, or pm a person that can (like an administrator+) ALWAYS USE CORRECT GRAMMAR. Also make sure that your spelling is perfect as well. Make what you say clear, so that everybody can understand the point that you are trying to put across. To make your guide more attractive, you can edit the text to be in different colours, font or the size. You can also make the text bold, italic, underlined and have a strike though. Brighter colours are more attractive to the human eyes. It's like advertising, only it makes it easier for the reader to look at. Another of my guides may help when doing this: https://forgottenrealm.rpg-board.net/t135-posting-extras Make the text in short paragraphs. To much text in one paragraph, would make the reader loose interest, and get bored. Make the reader feel like you are talking to them personally. Write as if you are telling someone else how to do the thing you are making a guide for. After you have made the writing frame, you can now start to add extras like pictures, videos, links and even a table. Here is an edit from one of my guides. It has very little words, but the images display it all. Just use these tips, and whatever you like, and you will have a great guide in credit of you! Good luck in making your own guide. Just remember that this guide is more of tips on what to do, then doing it a certain way. This is because there are various ways of posting a guide, but something like a skill guide, you have to do it a certain way. That also means, that I can't use many images, or else they may be off topic.

| Also make sure you are using good grammar or some sort of spell check. I know Mozilla Firefox has one and it helps some. | |
